Poets are of four classes: 1. கவி, one who composes any of the four kinds of poetry, called ஆசு, மதுரம், சித்திரம், வித்தாரம். See கவி; 2. கமகன், one who treats abstruse subjects in a natural and agreeable manner; 3. வாதி, one who by adducing reasons, and quoting authors, confutes the doctrines of another and establishes his own; 4. வாக்கி, one who treats on the four classes of subjects, அறம், பொருள், இன்பம், வீடு, and is thus a rhetorician in ethics. 21)

See சொல்லிக்கொள்ள. பயணந்தவிர்ந்துபோதல், v. noun. Being hindered on a journey. பயணப்பட, inf. To set out on a journey or march, to leave home. 2. To be gone on a journey. 3. As பயணங்கட்ட. பயணப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். They are set out on their journey; lodging at a short distance to avoid leaving on an unlucky day. பயணப்படுத்த, inf. To take one on a journey. 2. To prepare one for, or send one on, a journey. உள்ளதையெல்லாம்பயணப்படுத்திவிட்டிருக் கிறான். He has squandered all his property. பயணமனுப்ப, inf. As பயணப்படுத்த, 2. பயணம்போக, inf.
