To hit or strike against, தட்ட. 4. To touch, to come in contact with, as air, oil, or water, தொட. 5. To perish, to die as a tree or other vegetable, கெட. 6. A dead tree. பட்டம், [first person pl.] As பட்டோம், we suffered. பட்டனுபவித்தல்--பட்டுத்தரித்தல், v. noun.] suffering, experiencing, expiating. பட்டுங்கெட்டும்பார்த்தல், v. noun. Endeavoring amidst sufferings and losses. பட்டுத்தெளிய, inf. To learn by experience. பட்டுப்போக, inf. To set, to go down, 2. To be slain in battle. 3.
