Seven stages of life in the female; 1. பேதை, from five to seven years of ages inclusive; 2. பெது ம்பை, eight to eleven; 3. மங்கை, from twelve to thirteen; 4. மடந்தை, from fourteen to nineteen; 5. அரிவை, from twenty to twenty-five; 6. தெரிவை, from twenty-six to thirty-one; 7. பேரிளம்பெ ண், from thirty-two to forty.--Note. According to the நிகண்டு, seven, and upwards, is the period for the first stage; and so on through the table. பருவத்திலேபிள்ளைபெற்றாள்.
