pl (p. 301) adj. Many, several, diverse, sundry, manifold, numerous, &c., ஒன்றல்லன. [Compare Sa. Bahula.]-- In combin. பல், பற், பன், as பல்பொருள், பற்பல, பன்மணி. பலதுளிபெருவெள்ளம். Many drops make a great flood; i. e. many small sums make a great amount. பலதீட்டுக்கொருமுழுக்குப்போடுகிறது. One bathing for various pollutions; i. e. many difficulties settled at once. பலகலப்பு--பலகலவை, s., Mixture of diverse things, miscellany. பலகலப்பு ஒருசாதி.
