mu (p. 356) num. adj. [contrac. of மு or மூன்று.] Three, third--used in combination. Most of the compounds may be referred to திரி. முக்கடுகம்--முக்கடுகு, s. Three spices, as திரிகடுகம். முக்கணன்--முக்கண்ணன், s. [lit. threeeyed one.] An epithet of Siva, சிவன். 2. Vinayaga, விநாயகன். 3. Virabadra, வீரபத்திரன். (சது.) முக்கணி--முக்கண்ணி, s. [fem.] An epithet of the sakti of Siva--as Kali, காளி, and Parvati, பார்வதி. (சது.) 2. A cocoa-nut, தேங்காய். முக்கரணம், s. The three classes of faculties, as திரிவிதகரணம். See கரணம். முக்கலம், s. Three kalams, or thirtysix markals. முக்கனி, s. The three special fruits. See முப்பழம். முக்காணி, s. A fraction, the 3/5 of a மாகாணி. முக்காதலர், s. [pl.] The triple friends, usually husband, a male friend, and a son; [ex காதலன்.] (சது.) முக்காதவழி, s. See காதம். முக்காலம், s. The three divisions of time. 2. The three tenses in grammar. These are இறந்தகாலம், நிகழ்காலம், எதிர்கா லம். See காலம். முக்காலமறிந்தவன், appel. n. An epithet of the Deity, as knowing the past, present, and future, கடவுள். முக்காலி, s. Three principles in nature, Satva, Raja and Tama. See குணம். முக்குலம், s. The three races of kings: 1. Solar, or the race of the sun; 2. Lunar or the race of the moon; 3.
