One who has suppressed the five senses, or to whom the senses are subject. இது என்விசாரணைக்கமைந்த காரியம். It is a matter at my disposal. என்விருப்பத்திற்கமைந்தபடிநடந்தது. It has occurred to my satisfaction. சுகதுக்கம் ஊழின்படி அமையும். Good and evil are appointed according to former character. செயுநீர்மைசெய்யாதமைகலாவாறு. The ox has assumed a sickly appearance; or it shrinks at the sight of the yoke. ஊணொடுங்கவீணொடுங்கும். If his food be reduced, his dissipation will cease. உலகுதோன்றினமுறையேயொடுங்கும். The world will be reduced to its primeval elements in the order in which it was educed. ஆளொடுங்கினவேளைபார்த்துவந்தான். He watched for an opportunity and came when all was still (for plunder, &c.). கலிமுதிரமுதிரப்பெரியவர்களொடுங்கிவிட்டார்கள்... As the iron age advances, the great are reduced. ஒடுங்கலில்பல்கலை. The various sciences which are unlimited. குளிராலொடுங்க, inf. To shrink with cold. ஒடுங்கி, s. A tortoise, ஆமை. ஒடுக்கம், v. noun. Narrowness, straitness, closeness, வழியொடுக்கம். 2. Contraction into itself--as the tortoise, an elastic substance, &c., சுருங்குகை. 3. To lie under, to be under one's dominion or control. கீழாறு, s. A river under ground, பூமி யினுள்ளோடுமாறு. 2. A river in the Congu country, கொங்குதேசத்தாறு. கீழாறுகொண்டுபோயிற்று. The under ground river has carried it away--said of things lost without knowing how. கீழுக்குப்போக, inf. To be diminishes, to be reduced. அவன்புத்தியுங்கல்வியும்வரவரக்கீழுக்குப்போகி றது. His understanding and knowledge are more and more diminishing. கீழோங்கி, s. [prov.] An inferior class or fishermen--as distinguished from மே லோங்கி, a higher rank. கீழ்நோக்க, inf.
