To become angry, to redden, as the eyes by anger, உக்கிரங் கொள்ள.--Note. Where redness comes on of itself, சிவத்தது is used in the past tense; where art is used, or the thing is red by birth, or origin, சிவந்தது is common; but in the latter it is sometimes optional; சிவந்தது may sometimes indicate the deeper color.--Note. 2.
