irattiṉam (p. 49) s. A jewel, a gem, precious stone, மாமணி. Wils. p. 695. RATNA. The nine gems are, 1. கோமேதகம் gomada. 2. நீலம், sapphire. 3. பவளம், coral. 4. புட்பராகம், topaz. 5. மரகதம், emerald. 6. மாணிக்கம், ruby. 7. முத்து, pearl. 8. வைடூ ரியம், lapis-lazuli. 9. வைரம், diamond. இரத்தினக்கம்பளம்--இரத்தினக்கம் பளி, s. A kind of carpet of various colors, probably studded with gems in ancient times, சித்திரக்கம்பளம். இரத்தினச்சுருக்கம், s. A book of comparisons by புகழேந்தி, உறுப்புவமைநூல். 2. A medical boo of Agastiar, ஓர்வாகடம். இரத்தினபரிட்சை, s. Acquaintance with gems, the art or practice of examining precious stones, இரத்தினசோத னை--one of the sixty-four கலைஞானம். இரத்தினப்பல்லக்கு, s.
