cntṭi (p. 159) s. [from Sa. Sand'ha, joining.] Thick crowding of people going and coming, a throng, mob, சனத்திரள். 2. Bustle, stir, clamor, tumultuousness, confused noise, hubbub, uproar, இரைச்சல். (c.) கலியாணச் சந்தடியிலே தாலிகட்ட மறந்தாப்போல். As if one had forgotten, in the bustle of the wedding, to tie the tali-badge; i. e. lost sight of the main point. சந்தடிகலைகின்றது. The crowd us dispersed. சந்தடியடங்குகின்றது. The noise abates. சந்தடியாக, inf. To grow turbulent or noisy. (c.) 77)
