ciṟiy (p. 189) adj. Little, minor, &c. சிறியதகப்பன்--சிறியபிதா, s. A paternal uncle, the father's younger brother, or the mother's younger sister's husband. The father's paternal cousin, younger than the father.--Note. The relationship may be extended to distant relatives. சிறியதாய், s. (Rarely சிறியமாதா.) A maternal aunt, the mother's younger sister, or the father's younger brother's wife. சிறியதாய்முறை, s. Consanguinity of one's husband or wife's father's younger sister. 2.
