civ (p. 187) க்கிறது, ந்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. (etymological'y செவ.) To redden, blush, to be red, to be streaked or tinged with red, செவக்க. 2. To become angry, to redden, as the eyes by anger, உக்கிரங் கொள்ள.--Note. Where redness comes on of itself, சிவத்தது is used in the past tense; where art is used, or the thing is red by birth, or origin, சிவந்தது is common; but in the latter it is sometimes optional; சிவந்தது may sometimes indicate the deeper color.--Note. 2.
