teṟṟu (p. 257) கிறேன், தெற்றினேன், வேன், தெற்ற, v. n. (com. தெத்து.) To stammer in speaking, வாய்கொன்ன. 2. To have the feet entangled in a rope, &c., to be tripped up, upset, supplanted, இடற, (c.) 3. To be perverse, obstinate, மாறுபட. 4. v. a. (c.) To braid whips, mats, baskets, &c., to plait, entwine, enfoid, weave, பின்ன, 5. To disturb, அலைக்க. தெற்றிப்பேச, inf. To stammer. தெற்றிவீழ்த்த, inf. To trip, supplant. தெற்றுக்காலன், s. A person whose legs in walking strike one against the other. தெற்றுப்பல், s. A lapping tooth, a snag tooth. தெற்றுப்பல்லன், s. (fem. தெற்றுப்ப ல்லி.)
