cūppu (p. 200) கிறேன், சூப்பினேன், வேன், சூப்ப, v. a. To suck, extract by sucking, to suck up, to sip, as a bee honey, வாயாற் சூப்ப (c.) முலைசூப்ப, inf. To suck the breasts. சூப்பிப்போட, inf. To throw away the skin, &c., after sucking the juice. அவன்ஒருசூப்பிப்போட்டபனங்கொட்டை..... He is a useless fellow; (lit.) a sucked palmyra-nut. சூப்பி, s.
