uluppai (p. 66) s. (For.) Presents of fruits, grain, &c., made to a temple, a wedding house, &c., கோயில்முதலியவற்றிற்கனுப்புங்காணிக் கை. 2. Supplies of vegetables, &c. to a dependant, அடைந்தோ ர்க்களிக்குமூண்பண்டம். உம்பர்கோன்வைத்தஉலுப்பையென. As the present of fruits offered by the king of the Devas-- (வருணகுலா.) உலுப்பைகட்ட, inf. To send a present to a great person in order to gain his favor. உலுப்பைகொடுக்க, inf. To give a supply to an inferior. உலுப்பைப்பை, s. kiḷmpu (p. 111) கிறேன், கிளம்பினேன், வேன், கி ளம்ப, v. n. To rise in the air or water, to ascend, to get up; to rise above the level, to emerge, to rise to the surface, எழும்ப. 2. To turn up, to occur, to happen; to come up in sight, to appear; to come up in discourse, dispute, &c., உண்டாக. 9. To set out, to start, to leave for another place, புறப்பட. 1. To increase; to exceed, to surpass, to excel, மேலெழும்ப. 11. To become loose, detached--as a brick, &c., that still adheres; to scale off, to flake, to peel off--as mortar, &c., எடுபட. அவனுடையபேர்கிளம்பிற்று. His fame has spread abroad. பயணங்கிளம்பினார்கள். They set out on a journey. மணங்கிளம்பிற்று. Odor was diffused. கிளம்பியாட, inf. To be stirred up with anger. 2. To act insubordinately, self-willedly, &c. கிளம்பிவிட, inf. [prov.] To agree though reluctantly; to be ultimately persuaded. 2. To leave--as a family for another house, village, &c. கிளம்பினஆள், s. A grown-up person. கிளம்பினவேலை, s. cṇṭai (p. 158) s. Quarrel, strife, contention, altercation, bickering, சொற்போர். 2. Battle, conflict; quarrel, போர். (c.) சண்டைகொடுக்க, inf. To fight the enemy. சண்டைக்கப்பல், s. A war ship, frigate, privateer, &c. சண்டைக்காரர், s. Quarrelsome persons. 2. Soldiers of the foe, an invading army. சண்டைக்குநிற்க, inf. To fight a duel, to fight in single combat. 2.
