aḷvḷāvu (p. 33) கிறேன், அளவளாவி னேன், வேன், அளவளாவ, v. n. To be very intimate, live sociably, converse freely, கலக்க. (p.) அளவளாதல்--அளவளாவல்--அள வளாவு--அளவளாவுதல், v. noun. Being very intimate, sociable, ஐக்கமாயிருத்தல். அளவளாவில்லாதான்வாழ்க்கை குளவளாக்கோடி ன்றிநீர் நிறைந்தற்று. The prosperity of the man who does not cultivate sociality with his friends, is like a tank full of water without banks. 24)

iṇukku (p. 45) s. Twig as formed on branches, வளார். 2. A handful of cocoanut leaves, &c., or of fruit from a tree plucked off, கைப்பிடியளவினுக்கப்பட்டது. (c.) 3. A mountain on which she plays with her female attendants. ஏற்றநல்லோரையினெழுந்ததாலன்றோஆற்றெதிர்ப் பட்டனம். it was because we started in an auspicious hour that we have now met in the way. புளியோரை, s. tavaḷam (p. 227) s. White, ash-colour, grey, வெண்மை. W. p. 441. DHAVALA. தவளச்சத்திரம், s. A white umbrella, one of the insignia of royalty, வெள்ளைக் குடை. தவளாங்கம், s. A white body, வெள் ளைமேனி; [ex அங்கம்.] தவளோற்பலம், s. A flowering waterplant, white lily, வெள்ளாம்பல்; [ex உற்ப லம்.] See under அல்லி 25) *

tuvḷ (p. 249) --துவளு, கிறது, துவண்டது, துவளும், துவள, v. n. To waver, shake, move, vacillate, to be agitated, அசைய. 2. To be flexible slender, weak, unable to sustain a weight--as a tender tree, or (fig.) a lady's waist, &c., மெல்லியதாயிருக்க. 3. To fall, faint, droop under a load, &c., திவள. (See சவளு 4. To wrap, bend, shrink, twist, as boards in the sun, &c. நெளிய. 5. To become thick and dry as curry. இறுக. 6. To become rumpled, deprived of gloss, as a new-cloth, கசங்க. 7. (in an impersonal sense.) To stick to, adhere, as oil, thick liquid, dust, or coloring matter, to the hand or a cloth; to stain, blot, color, soil, daub, smear, ஒட்ட. 8. To become dry, as plants under a scorching sun, வாட. (c.) குழந்தைஅல்லித்தண்டுபோலத்துவண்டுகிடக்கிறது. The child is weak as the stalk of a lily. துவளாமல்காரியம்பார்க்க. To manage another's business without deriving any profit to one's self. To get business done without expense. பாலைத்துவளக்காய்ச்சினான். He boiled the milk until it was thick. துவணீர், s. Filth, slimy matter about a new born infant; [ex நீர்.] துவளச்சமைக்க, inf. To make curry thick. துவட்சி--துவளல், v. noun. Being thin, slender, flexible, shaking as unable to bear a weight, &c., மெலிவு. 71) *
