kūṟu (p. 136) கிறேன், கூறினேன், வேன், கூற, v. a. To cry aloud, publish, promulgate, proclaim, பிரசித்தஞ்செய்ய. 2. To cry--as an auctioneer, a herald, a crier of goods, &c., விலைமுதலியகூற. 3. To speak, say; to declare, assert; to answer, சொல்ல. 4. (சது.) To sell by auction, விற்க. பழிகூற, inf. To blame, censure, scold, abuse, reproach. கூறியதுகூறல், v. noun.
