An indefinite color between red and black; spoken of persons. பொதுப்பட, inf. [as adv.] Generally commonly. பொதுப்படப்பேசினான். He spoke without particularizing any one. பொதுப்பெயர், s. [in gram.] Nouns common to both திணை, and two or more பால்--opposed to சிறப்புப்பெயர். பொதுப்பேச்சு, s. General speech, language not definite, not minute. 2. Ambiguous talk. பொதுமனிதன்--பொதுவன், s.
