kṭi (p. 87) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To bite, bite off, crop, gnaw, nibble, grasp with, or hold in the mouth, to champ, பல்லாற்கறிக்க. 2. To hurt, pinch, gall --as new shoes, a new ring, &c., செருப்புமு தலியகாலையழுத்த. காதையிந்தக்கடுக்கன்மிகக்கடிக்கிறது. This earring pinches my ear very much. காலைச்செருப்புக்கடித்துப்போட்டது. The lips of a wound occasioned by a bite. கடிவாய்வடு, s. The scar remaining after a wound caused by a bite, a cicatrice. காணாக்கடி, s. The bite of an insect, &c., concealed. பொய்க்கடி, s. குரங்கு
kurngku (p. 124) s. [adjectively குரக்கு, in poetry.] A monkey, வானரம். 2. A climbing plant, முசுமுசுக்கை. 3. An animal in general--as குரங்கம், குராகம். குரங்கின்கைப்பூமாலை. A flower-garland in the hands of a monkey; i. e. a thing of value with one who knows not its use. குரங்குக்குந்தன்குட்டிபொன்குட்டி. Even to a monkey her young is as gold; i. e. one thinks highly of his own. குரங்குதன்குட்டியின்கையைக்கொண்டுபதம்பார்க்கி றதுபோலப்பார்க்கிறான். He tests it by another, as a monkey does a new object by the hand of her young. குரங்குமனம், s. A monkey-mind, retaining its grasp, notions, &c., without inquiry, or discrimination. குரக்குமுகம்--குரங்குமுகம்--குரங்கு மூஞ்சி, s. A monkey face. குரக்குவலி--கொறுக்குவலி, s. A kind of disease with which monkeys are commonly said to be affected. குரங்காட்டம், s. Apishness; apish tricks, antics, &c. 2. v. noun. Harassing, annoying, treating one as a mere monkey. குரங்காட்டமாட--குரங்காட்டங்கொள் ள--குரங்காட்டம்பண்ண, inf. To annoy, to treat one as a monkey. குரங்குகடியன், s. [prov.] A cocoanut, injured at the top, as if by a monkey, squirrel, &c., பழுதுற்றதேங்காய். குரங்குச்சம்பந்தம், s. The mode of a monkey's hold, grasp, &c., to which the hold of the soul on God is sometimes compared.--Note. The hold of a God on a soul is compared to that of a cat on its young. குரங்குச்சேட்டை--குரங்குச்சேஷ்டை, s. Mean, monkeyish tricks--as scratching and eyeing carefully; apish imitation. குரங்குச்சேட்டைபண்ண, inf. To play apish tricks; to act meanly; to mimic, in a low manner. குரங்குப்பிடி, s. A firm grasp--as that of a monkey. 2. Dogmatism in opinion, பிடிவாதம். 3. Urgency, importunity. குரங்குவலி, s. Numbness and pain in the limbs with shivering; a spasmodic affection, incident to puerperal women, ஓர்நோய். 26)
குலுக்கு
kulukku (p. 127) கிறேன், குலுக்கினேன், வேன், குலுக்க, v. a. To shake--as a vessel, a palankeen, &c.; to shake up, to shake up and down, to jar, to jolt, to agitate, அசைக் க. 2. To condense, to consolidate by shaking; to shake together in a mass, ஆட் டியிறுகச்செய்ய. 3. v. n. To put on airs, to be foppish, to be vain, பிலுக்குக்காட்ட. கலசத்தினீரைக்குலுக்கிவீசு. Shake up the vessel and throw out its contents. சரீரத்தைக்குலுக்குகிறான். He shakes himself (in walking, laughing, talking, &c.) தேசங்களைக்குலுக்கிப்போட்டார். He shook the nations. குலுக்கி--குலுக்குக்காரி, s. A gay, dressy woman, பிலுக்கி. குலுக்கு, v. noun. A shake, a jar, a jolt, concussion, அசைப்பு. 2. Affected gestures, foppish airs, பிலுக்கு. குலுக்கெனல், v. noun. [vul.] Being shaken or convulsed with laughter. குலுக்கென்றுசிரிக்க, inf. To shake the sides with laughter. 43)
கோபம்
kōpam (p. 150) s. [com. கோவம்.] Anger, wrath, rage, fury, சினம். 2. Displeasure, pique, umbrage, dudgeon, வெறுப்பு. 3. Irritation, exasperation, irascibility, waspishness, கோபக்குணம். (c.) 4. Morbid irritation, or exacerbation of any of the three humors of the body, உடம்பெரிச்சல். W. p. 251. KOPA. 5. The cochineal and other insects of the coccus class, இந்திரகோபம். 6. A kind of prepared arsenic, துத்தபாஷாணம். கோபமுங்குறையும். Displeasure and offence. கோபம்பாவம். Anger is sin. கோபக்காரன், s. An irritable, passionate man. கோபங்காட்ட, inf. To be angry, to manifest resentment, to appear displeased. 2. To give place to anger before superiors. 3. To be indolent. கோபங்கொள்ள, inf. To be displeased, to take umbrage at. 2. (fig. prov.) To be inflamed, irritated--as a sore, a wound, &c., to become aggravated--as a disease; to rage--as the sea. கோபஞ்சாதிக்க, inf. To harbor resentment. கோபதாபம், s. Great anger, choler, rage. (c.) கோபமுகம், s. An angry countenance, angry looks. கோபமூள, inf. To be excited, inflamed with anger. 2. To be enraged. கோபமெழுப்ப--கோபமூட்ட, inf. To provoke, to enrage, to incense, to exasperate. கோபம்பாராட்ட, inf. To yield to, or indulge in anger. கோபாக்கினி, s. Hold displeasure, fury, indignation; [ex அக்கினி, fire.] கோபி, s. A passionate, irritable person, one easily enraged; a surly, waspish person, கோபமுடையவன். See கோபிசந்தனம். கோபிஷ்டன், s. A passionate man. தீராக்கோபம், s. Implacable hatred. முன்கோபம், s. To stroll about, to assume airs. சளுக்கி, s. (fem.) A vain woman, குலுக்கி. (R.) சளுக்குப்பண்ண, inf. To be foppish, assuming. 2. To behave meanly, to act dishonorably. 33)

As சின்னாயி. சின்னாயி, s. The mother's younger sister or the wife of the father's younger brother; also a step mother. (c.) 8)
நாகரிகம்
nākarikam (p. 273) --நாகரீகம், s. Town or city manners, speech, address or dress. சா துரியம். 2. Politeness, refinement of manners, civility, gentility, urbanity, உபசரணை; [e நகரம்.] 3. A favorable look, graciousness, kindness, கண்ணோட்டம். 4. Something new, a curiosity, வினோதம். 5. Affectation, foppishness, பிலுக்கு. (c.) நாகரீகக்காரன்--நாகரீகமுள்ளவன், s. pkṭṭu (p. 286) கிறேன், பகட்டினேன், வேன், பகட்ட, v. n. To make a false show, to be foppish, finical, நாகரீகங்காட்ட. 2. (R.) To loathe, அரோசிக்க. 3. To be drowsy, நித்தி ரைமயக்க. 4. v. a. To charm, fascinate, allure, attract, மயக்க. 5. To deceive, circumvent, misrepresent--as in selling goods, வஞ்சிக்க. 6. To menace, bully, hector, threaten, in order to affect an object, அமட்ட. போசனம்பண்ணினபின்பு பகட்டிவாந்தி பண்ணி னான். After he has eaten he loathed, and vomited, the food. தூக்கம்பகட்டுகிறது.
