To quiver as the lips in anger. உதடுபிதுக்கி, s. A thick-lipped person. உதடுமடிக்க, inf. To bite the lips in anger. உதடுவெடிப்பு, s. Harelip. உதட்டடி, s. Angry, menace, bluster, boisterousness, வாயடி. உதட்டடியடிக்க, inf. To disconcert a plan by blustering. உதட்டுப்புண், s. Sore on the lip. உதட்டைப்பிதுக்க, inf. urppu (p. 63) கிறேன், உரப்பினேன், வே ன், உரப்ப, v. n. and a. To whoop, vociferate inarticulately or otherwise--as in driving cattle, scaring away birds, beasts, or human beings, to menace or intimidate by shouts, to bluster, shout, call, அதட்ட. 2. To urge forward beasts of burden with shouts, துரத்த. 3. (p.) To pronounce with aspiration, as the second letter in each of the five series of Sanscrit gutterals, உரத் தொலிக்க. ஆனையையுரப்பிலிடு. Frighten away, or drive the elephants along. ஒருவரேயெதிரினிங்ஙனுரப்பியேதுரப்பர். If but one should oppose them, he may rout them all merely by a menacing shout. உரப்பிப்பார்க்க, inf. To use menace, boisterousness, &c., in order to try the courage of any one to beat him down, &c. உரப்பியடிக்க, inf. To attempt, overcome by boisterous talk, overcome in whole, or in part. உரப்பு, v. noun. Bluster, shout, vociferation, whoop, call, அதட்டுகை.

[prov.] To pound and harden the earth around trees newly set, பலமுறச்செய்ய. உரங்கொள்ள, inf. To thrive, grow strong--as the wind; to get strength, become boisterous--as the sea, பலங்கொள்ள. 2. To exert strength, &c., வலியுண்டாக. 3. To be hardened, indurated, obdurate, கடினமுற. உரங்கொண்டெறிந்து. Throwing with force. காய்ச்சலுரங்கொண்டுகாய்கின்றது. The fever rages and burns. உரஞ்செய்ய, inf. To exert influence, take effect, produce, effect--as arguments, பலஞ்செய்ய. 2. To grow strong, வலியுற. 3. To thrive--as vegetables, &c., பலப்பட. அவரெடுத்தகாரியங்களிலொன்றுமுரஞ்செய்யவில் லை. He has been successful in nothing that he has undertaken. உரஞ்சொல்ல, inf. To animate, to encourage. உரமண், s. Hard, ungenial soil. உரமாய்நிற்க, inf. To stand fast, immovable. உரமாய்ப்பெய்கிறமழை, s. A heavy rain. உரமானசத்தம், s. A loud sound. உரமெடுக்க, inf. To remove a particular ailment incident to infants. உரம்போட, inf. To manure land, எருப்போட. 2. To fasten, make firm, உரப்பிக்க. உரம்விழ, inf. To get a particular ailment by rolling on the ground--applied only to a child not twelve months old. உராதரம், s. A woman's breast, முலை. உரேந்திரன், s. A hero, a soldier, வீரன். உரோருகம், s. A woman's breast, முலை; [ex உருகம், birth, origin.] கடலுரம், s. Roughness of the sea. உரக்க, inf. To become intense, grow strong, firm, hard, &c., to increase in strength, intenseness, loudness, &c., to rage, increase in violence, vehemence, heat, malignity, &c., பலமடைய. உரத்துப்படி. kuti (p. 120) க்கிறேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To jump, leap, spring, bound, skip; to leap from, to rebound, பாய. 2. To spirt out, splash up--as water; to spring, to be brisk or active--as quicksilver, இரச முதலியனருசிக்க. 3. (fig.) To be boisterous, frolic, haughty, arrogant, பெருமையிலேதுள்ள. 4. v. a. to pass over, to leap over, கடக்க. 5. To surpass, overcome, to escape from, கடந்துபோக. குதித்துக்குதித்துமாவிடித்தாலும்புழுக்கைக்கொருகொ ழுக்கட்டையே. Though the poor maidservant beat flour ever so hard and briskly, she will have but a small கொழுக்கட்டை cake. குதித்துப்பாய, inf. To leap over, to leap down from a carriage, &c. 2. (fig.) To be insolent or wanton, to be unjust, cruel, &c. குதித்துவிழ, inf. To jump into, to plunge, to dive. 2. To jump down from a height. குதி, v. noun. A jump, a leap, jumping, குதிப்பு. 2. To be in confusion, uproar, &c.; to be in perturbation, or anxiety. குழப்பம்பண்ண, inf. To confuse, to embroil, to derange. 2. To quarrel, to contend. 3. To stir up strife. 4. To raise sedition, insurection, &c. ஐப்பசிக்குழப்பம், s. Rough weather at the setting in of the N. E. mansoon, in October. கடற்குழப்பம், s. A boisterious sea. கள்ளர்குழப்பம், s. kuẕmpu (p. 128) கிறது, குழம்பினது, ம், குழம்ப, v. n. To become mixed, mingled &c.--as liquids of different consistency, or as powders with liquids, கலங்க. 2. To be stirred up, agitated, disconcerted, confused, மனந் தளம்ப. 3. To be disturbed, agitated; to be boisterous--as the sea; to be embroiled, நிலைகுழம்ப. 4. To waver, to fluctuate, தத்த ளிக்க. 5.
