neṟi (p. 281) க்கிறது, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. To stand erect, to become stiff, to bristle, செவ்வேநிற்க. 2. To lower, to be raised, as the eye-brows in anger, &c., புருவம்நெளிக்க. 3. To be curled in ringlets, as the long hair of some women, மயிர்சுருள. 4. v. a. க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க. To frown, to turn up the nose in displeasure, கோபத்துடன்பார்க்க. 5. To prick up the ears, as beasts; to erect the head, as animals, செவிநிமிர்்த்த. 6. To stiffen, to bristle, சிலுப்ப. நெறிகுழல்--நெறித்தகூந்தல். Erect and wavy hair-locks. (p.) நெறித்தபுருவம்.
