(சது.)--Of palmyra species are different varieties: அலகுபனை or ஆண்பனை male pal myra tree; கூந்தற்பனை, Caryota; தாளிப்பனை the talipot tree. பருவப்பனை, பெண்பனை, female palmyra tree. See these in their places. In combination the final letter is changed according to rule. See தாழை. பனைமரத்தின் கீழிருந்துபாலைக்குடித்தாலுங் கள்ளென் றுசொல்லுவார்கள்.
