The mouth is sugar, the hand is a dried integument, i. e. good in promising, empty in giving. கொக்கரையுடும்பு, s. A small kind of guana, slender and long as a dried integument. 5)

ceṭil (p. 202) --செடல், s. A machine consisting of a standing post with a long swivel or sweep, on one end of which a person is suspended by a hook fastened into the integuments of the back, and being raised high in the air, is swung round, உடல்குத்தியாடுங்கருவி. (c.) செடிலாட--செடிற்குத்தியாட, inf. To swing on hooks, to celebrate the செடில் festival. செடிலாட்டம்-செடிலூசல்-உச்சிச்செ டில். s. pṉai (p. 304) s. A species of palm, the palmyra tree, ஓர்மரம். Borassus flabelliformis. 2. The seventeenth lunar asterism, அனுடநட்சத்தி ரம். (சது.)--Of palmyra species are different varieties: அலகுபனை or ஆண்பனை male pal myra tree; கூந்தற்பனை, Caryota; தாளிப்பனை the talipot tree. பருவப்பனை, பெண்பனை, female palmyra tree. See these in their places. In combination the final letter is changed according to rule. See தாழை. பனைமரத்தின் கீழிருந்துபாலைக்குடித்தாலுங் கள்ளென் றுசொல்லுவார்கள். If you drink only milk under a palmyra tree they will call it toddy. பனையினிழலும்நிழலோபகைவருறவுமுறவோ.
