Betel-nutcrackers with a forked mouth. குறடுகட்ட, inf. To make the edges of the raised floor of the verandah. திண்ணைக்குறடு, s. A lower part of a verandah to sit on. சந்தனக்குறடு, s. blocks of sandal wood. பாதகுறடு, s. Wooden sandals. 2. Shoes, slippers. குறட்டுச்செருப்பு, s. kuṟṇṭu (p. 132) கிறேன், குறண்டினேன், வேன், குறண்ட, v. n. [prov.] To be crooked, bent, crumpled, &c.--as horns, fingers, limbs, fruits, &c., வளைய. 2. To be convulsed; to have spasms, குறண்டியிழுக்க. 3. To coil itself up--as a small reptile, &c., சுருண்டுகொள்ள. அவர்குறண்டிப்போனார். He is grown crooked, bent, humb-backed. குறண்டிப்பிடிக்கிறான். He is close-fisted. குறண்டற்கிழவன், s. A crooked, old man, கூனற்கிழவன். குறண்டல்வாதம், s. A kind of rheumatic affection attended with spasms. கால்கைகுறண்ட, inf.
