[vul. குமட்டி.] A class of running plants of the melon or gourd kind, the water-melon plant, ஒர்கொடி, Cucurbita citrullus, L. சர்க்கரைக்கொம்மட்டி, சிறுகொம்மட்டி, பெருங் கொம்மட்டி, பேய்க்கொம்மட்டி, வத்தாக்குக்கொம்மட் டி, are varicties of கொம்மட்டி.
