klkku (p. 96) கிறேன், கலக்கினேன், வேன், கலக்க, v. a. To stir, mix, mix up liquids (not generally by shaking), agitate, perturb, ruffle, stir, shake, mix, &c., so as to make the liquid or matter all alike or equal in consistence, to puddle, குழப்ப, 2. To disconcert, discompose, disturb, disquiet, confuse, confound, perplex, embarrass, embroil, cause disturbance, tumultuate, கலங்கச் செய்ய. 3. To frighten, intimidate, distress, grieve, depress, abash, agitate, dismay, dishearten, dispirit, daunt, அஞ்சுவிக்க. 4. To bewilder, distract, திகைக்கச்செய்ய. குளத்தைக்கலக்கிப்பருந்துக்கிரைகொடுக்கவோ..... kuẕppm (p. 128) --குழப்படி, s. Confusion; disorder, embroilment, intricacy, தாறுமாறு. 2. Perturbation, agitation; bewilderment; indecision, மனக்கலக்கம். 3. Disturbance, quarrel; commotion, tumult, கலகம். 4. Sadition, insurrection, rebellion, இராசகலகம். 5. A squall, storm, hurricane; boisterousness of the weather or see, கொந்தளிப்பு; [ex குழம்பு, குழப்பு.] காரியக்குழப்பம், s. Confusion of a business. 2. kentu (p. 138) கிறது, கெந்தினது, ம், கெந்த, v. n. [prov.] To crawl--as grubs, animalcula, &c., in a sore; to writhe or wriggle, either as seen or felt, நெளிய. கெந்திக்கெந்திநடக்கிறான். He struts, he walks with an affected spring. நரகத்திலேகிடந்துகெந்துவான். He will writhe in hell--an imprecation. மனங்கெந்த, inf. To be perturbed through envy rage, &c. 18)

cittam (p. 182) s. Will, volition, one of the four faculties of the mind, உட்கரணநான்கி னொன்று. 2. Purpose, determination, resolution, pleasure, choice, உள்ளக்கருத்து. (c.) 3. The mind or heart as the seat of affection, காருண்ணியமனம். W. p. 325. CHITTA. 4. An established truth; a tenet or doctrine maintained by certain authorities, சித்தாந் தம். 5. Peace of mind, tranquility, calmness. சித்தசமுசயம், s. Doubt of mind, hesitation, indetermination. (p.) சித்தசாந்தி, s. Stoical tranquility of mind, extinction of volitional feeling, &c., as attained by the ஞானி. (p.) சித்தசலனம், s. Agitation of mind, perturbation, disgust. See சலனம். சித்தஸ்வாதீனம், s. Command of one's will, self-control. சித்தஞ்செய்ய, inf. To settle, decide, give a final judgement, தீர்மானிக்க. 2. To will, desire; to direct, command; to be pleased, ஆக்கியாபிக்க. 3. To make ready, தயார்பண்ண. (Colloq.) சித்தத்தியாகம்--சித்தநிவர்த்தி, s. [prov.] Renunciation, entire subjection or extinction of the will and of secular purposes, resolves, desires, &c.,--as attained by severe abstract devotion in one ripening for liberation from births; absolute quiescence. See தியாகம். சித்தத்திற்கொள்ள, inf. To will, resolve, purpose, choose, prefer. சித்தந்திரும்ப--சித்தம்வர, inf. To be pleased to do, &c. (c.) சித்தப்பிரமை, s. Aberration of mind, infatuation, fascination, stupefaction, bewilderment, மனமயக்கு. 2. Derangement, madness; [ex பிரமை, stupor.] சித்தமாக, inf. To will, to desire; to purpose, resolve. (c.) சித்தமிரங்க, inf. To condescend, to be pleased, to do a favor, &c. சித்தயோகம், s. [in astrol.] A conjunction of the lunar constellations with the days of the week and of the phases of the moon,-- not deemed very favorable; the twenty-first of the twenty-seven yogas, யோகமிருபத்தேழிலொ ன்று. 2. One of the three யோகம் neither favorable, nor unfavorable. See யோகம். சித்தலயம், s. Extinction of the will and identification of the soul with the Supreme, as obtained by the ascetic; [ex இலயம்.] சித்தவிலாசம், s. Increase of volitions or of yielding to desires after earthly objects--oppo. to சித்தலயம். சாத்திரசித்தம், s. The sentiment or meaning of the shastras. 2. தடுமாறு
tṭumāṟu (p. 222) கிறேன், தடுமாறினேன், வேன், தடுமாற, v. n. [improp. தடமாடு.] To be puzzled, perplexed, disconcerted, bewildered, கலங்க. 2. To be displaced, to be deranged, to be disordered, கலைய. 3. To doubt, to hesitate, to be in suspense, சந்தேகிக்க. (c.) மனந்தடுமாறேல். Be not perplexed. (Avv.) தடுமாறித்திரிய, inf. To roam, as a vagabond. தடுமாறியிடமொழிக்க, inf. To manage business without method or order. (R.) தடுமாறிவிழ, inf. To slip and fall. தடுமாற்றம், v. noun. [improp. தடமாட் டம்.] Perplexity, perturbation, bewiderment. கலக்கம். 2. Doubt, hesitancy, suspense, சந்தேகம். 3. Mistake, proneness to mistake, தவறுகை. 4. Aberration of mind, delirium, மயக்கம். (c.) அவனுக்குத்தடுமாற்றமாயிருக்கிறது. He is confused. தடுமாற்றக்காரன், s. தத்தளி
tttḷi (p. 223) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To struggle for life or breath, as one drowning; to be in consternation or trepidation; to be in a dilemma, at one's wit's end; to be greatly agitated--as one exposed to fire, wild beasts, &c., திடுக்கிட. 2. To be in great straits, as persons in time of drought, famine, or of an epidemic, வருந்த. 3. To vacillate, hesitate, தடுமாற. (c.) தத்தளிப்பு, v. noun.
