Hasty counsel, precipitancy, rashness, foolhardiness. சீக்கிரப்படுத்த, inf. To hasten, hurry, expedite, quicken. சீக்கிரபரிதி, s. [in astron.] The annual parallax of a superior, or elongation of an inferior planet. சீக்கிரப்பட, inf. To be peevish, to take offence easily. 2. To be in haste, to be busy. சீக்கிரமானபுகையிலை, s. [prov.] Pungent tobacco. சீக்கிரம்பண்ண, inf. v. n. To hasten, to hurry. 2. [prov.] To be hot, as the sun; pungent, as tobacco; violent as poison, &c. சீக்கிரகேந்திரம், s. [in astron.] Commutation, being the angular distance of the sun from a planet. சீக்கிராத்தம்--சீக்கிரார்த்தம்--சீக்கிரவ ரை, s. [in astron.] The first equated geocentric longitude; [ex அர்த்தம்.] 35)

tiṭīreṉl (p. 238) v. noun. Being sudden, abrupt, unexpected, சீக்கிரக்குறிப்பு. 2. Sounding as heavy thumping, beating of waves, ஒலிக்குறிப்பு. (c.) திடீரென, inf. [adverbially.] Promptly, suddenly, abruptly, precipitantly, hastily. திடீரென்றுவந்தான். He came suddenly. திடீரென்றுசொல்லிப்போட்டான். He spoke rashly, unpremeditatedly. 2. He spoke promptly. திடீர்திடீரெனல், v. noun. Reiteration of a thumping sound, as waves beating against the shore, or fruits falling in rapid succession from high trees. 2)

tiṭukūṟu (p. 238) s. [prov.] Suddenness, hastiness, precipitancy, as திடீரெனல். திடுகூறானமருந்து, s. A very strong medicine, speedy in operation, and used only in desperate cases. 3)

pṭpṭttl (p. 291) --படபடப்பு, v. noun. Being over-hasty in speech or action, being precipitant through fear, anger, &c., தீவரித்தல். 2. Shivering or tottering with cold, fever, ague, &c., துடித்தல். 3. Quivering as the lips, &c., உதடுதுடித்தல். 4. Being in agitation, through rage, கோபக் குறிப்பு. 5. Rattling, as things falling, rolling, breaking, ஈரடுக்கொலிக்குறிப்பு. 6. Flapping as a flag or sail, அடித்தல். (c.) இத்தனைபடபடப்புஆகாது. Such a hastiness is bad. 34)
