kuṭukuṭu (p. 117) s. A rumbling noise, a guggling or sound of water running out of a vessel with a narrow mouth, ஒலிக்குறிப்பு. குடுகுடுக்க, inf. To rumble; to rattle. 2. To be in a great hurry. குடுகுடுகிழவன், s. A tottering, decrepit man; a very old man, தளர்ந்தவய தோன். குடுகுடுக்கை, s. A dry cocoanut in which the kernel rattles, காய்ந்தொலிக்குந் தேங்காய். குடுகுடுப்பை, s. Any thing hollow with a rattling inside, குடுகுடுக்கும்பொருள். 2. A small kind of taborine, ஓர்விதப்பறை. 3. To excite, stir up, &c.--Note. More intense than குழப்ப. குழப்பு, v. noun. Mixing liquids of different consistency; mixing powders with liquids, &c., கலக்குகை. 2. cī (p. 190) க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To scratch--as fowls; to tear up earth--as birds, pigs, &c., to rub or scrape with the foot either walking or standing; to rub a thing under foot; to turn up or draw earth with the foot, காலினாற்சீக்க. 2. nẕuvu (p. 271) கிறேன், நழுவினேன், வேன், நழுவ, v. n. to slip cut of the hand, or from under the foot--as an oily or lubricous thing; to slip down, fall off, as a garment, நழுவ. 2. To come off, as hair, விழ. 3. To steal or skulk away; to elude, to escape, விலக. 4. (fig.) To evade, to shift, to give an indirect answer, to shuffle off, தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள. (c.) நழுவல், v. noun. Yoke. மாடுகளைநுகத்தடியிலேபிணக்க. To yoke the cattle. நுகத்தாணி, s. The pin of the yoke. நுகத்துளை, s. The hole of the yoke through which the rope, that goes round the neck of the cattle, is passed. நுகப்பிடி, s. [prov.] Equality, match, as a yoke of oxen, a couple of persons, &c. நுகம்புரட்டி, appel. n. [prov.] An ox which will not yield to the yoke, or that frees itself from it, கட்டுக்கமையாதஎ ருது. 2. (fig.) One who shuffles off a business through idleness, ஒழுங்குதவறுகிறவன். நுகம்பூட்ட, inf. To yoke a beast. நுகம்வைக்க, inf. To set the yoke on a beast's neck for the first time on an auspicious day. 287)

noḷnoḷ (p. 283) --நொளுநொளு, க்கிற து, த்தது, க்கும், க்க, v. n. [also நளுநொளு.] To be soft, slippery, as a snake, a leeth, a ripe fruit, &c., மிருதுவாக. 2. To be mashy, குழைய. (c.) நொளுநொளுத்தவாழைப்பழம். A plantain over-ripe. பாம்புநொளுநொளென்றிருக்கிறது. The snake is very soft and slippery. நொளுநொளுத்தபேச்சு. Wavering speech, shuffling talk. நொளுநொளெனல், v. noun.
