urōmam (p. 65) s. The hair of the body, thick, or close hair, மயிர்ப்பரப்பு. Wils. p. 711. ROMAN. உரோமக்கட்டு, s. Hair thick-set on the body. உரோமசன்--உரோமமுனி--உ ரோமரிஷி. A celebrated Rishi reputed to be covered with hair and of immense age, still living--one of the eighteen சித்தர்; [ex உரோமம், the hair.] உரோமத்துவாரம், s. The pores of the skin through which the hairs shoot, மயிர்த்துவாரம். உரோமபுளகம்--உரோமபுளகிதம் --உரோமப்பொடிப்பு, s. The rising of small pimples upon the body at the root of the hairs, from fear, extatic joy, &c., உரோமஞ்சிலிர்க்கை. உரோமமுனி--உரோமரிஷி, s. A sage who composed a treatise on medicine and morals. உரோமரேகை--உரோமாவலி, s. The line of hair in females, reaching to the navel, மயிரொழுக்கு. Wils. p. 712. ROMAVALEE. உரோமாஞ்சலி--உரோமாஞ்சிதம், s. ēẕilaimpālai (p. 79) s. A species of tree which is fancifully said to blossom when caressed by chaste and virtuous females. Its smell is offensive to elephants, ஓர்மரம். பூத்தவேழிலைம்பாலையைப்பொடிப்பொடியாக்கி... Crushing with his feet the flowering ஏழிலைம் பாலை tree. 73)

ciṉṉāpiṉṉm (p. 190) s. [prop. சின்னபின் னம்.] Pieces mangled; hacked or slashed pieces--as in battle; broken fragments, பொடிப்பொடியானது. (c.) சின்னாபின்னப்பட, inf. To be mangled, hacked, cut to pieces; to be broken or shattered; to be massacred. 15)

An ornament for the neck, ஓர்கழுத்தணி. See காறை. பட்டைக்கிடங்கு--பட்டைக்குழி, s. A cavity at the bottom of a well. See. குழி. பட்டைசீவ--பட்டைதட்ட--பட்டையு ரிக்க. inf. The scrape off bark. பட்டைச்சாதம், s. Boiled rice moulded in a metal cup. See சாதம். பட்டைச்சாராயம், s. Arrack extracted from a bark. See சாராயம். பட்டைதீர, inf.
