nungku (p. 277) s. [improp. நொங்கு.] The pulpy, edible kernel of a young palmyra fruit which afterwards becomes the seed-stone, பனையிளங்காய்க்குள்ளிருக்குங்கொட்டை. 2. A young palmyra fruit, பனையிளங்காய். (c.)-- நுங்கு is of two kinds; இளநுங்கு, tender kernel; கடுங் காய்நுங்கு, சீக்காய்நுங்கு, a little too mature. நீற்றுப்பூசணிக்காய்க்குழம்பு, s. A kind of liquid curry, made of pumpkin. 2. A kind of electuary. See குழம்பு. நீற்றுப்பூசணிக்காய்த்தானம், s. (St. கூஷ் மாண்டதானம்.)
