[vul. மாத்து.] Change of cloths supplied by a washerman on taking those soiled, a general custom, வண்ணான்மாற்று. 4. [in metallurgy.] Fineness of gold, or silver, by the touchstone, பொன்வெள்ளிகளின்மா ற்று. 5. (Beschi.) An acre of land or as much as one yoke of oxen can plough in a day, ஓரணைமாடுஒருநாளுழும்நிலம். எத்தனைமாற்று. What is the degree of fineness of the gold? மாற்றுயர்ந்தபொன். Fine gold. மாற்றுக்கட்டை, s. Inferior in quality, as gold, &c. மாற்றுக்கொடுக்க, inf. To supply a change of cloths, commonly to women during their confinement, &c. 2. [with ஒரு] To administer an antidote. மாற்றுமருந்து, s. An antidote, or medicine given to repel poison or subdue another medicine. மாற்றுவஸ்திரம், s. A change of garment. 3)
