A post set up by sages, with incantations, as an antidote for venomous bites, or for magical purposes. மந்திரஸ்தாபனம், s. Uttering incantations over magical letters, diagrams, &c., to communicate virtue to them. See தாபனம். மந்திரஸ்நானம், s. (lit.) Magical bathing of the sick by sprinkling a few drops of water on the head and repeating magical letters. மந்திரஞ்செபிக்க--மந்திரஞ்சொல்ல, inf. To pronounce a mantra. மந்திரதந்திரம், s.
