ceṭi (p. 202) s. Shrub, பூண்டு. 2. Shrubbery, bushes, thick foliage, புதர். 3. That which is maimed, decayed, faded, spoiled--as food, a flower, &c., பதனழிவு. 4. Sin, vice, demerit, பாவம். 5. Light, splendor, a luminous body, ஒளி. 6. [vul.] A matter of one importance, அற்பம்; used at the south --as செடிகிடக்கிறது. செடிக்காடு, s. [com. செடிங்காடு.] A low thicket, a jungle. செடிபற்ற--செடிமண்ட, inf. To become over-spread with bushes, brambles, weeds. 2. To be covered with foliage--as a tree. செடிமறைவு, s. Bushes, as intercepting sight, or as a place of concealment, lurking place, &c., Compare குழைமறைவு. செடியொண்ட, inf. To hide one's self under a bush. செடியன், s. A bad, worthless fellow. செடிவைக்க, inf. To plant medicinal or flower-shrubs. செடிச்சி, s. [prov.] A low, base woman, a strumpet, இழிந்தோள். உச்சிச்செடி, s. See under உச்சி. 86)

cētārm (p. 207) s. Waste of gold or silver in testing it on the touch stone, உரைத் தலாதியால்வருநஷ்டம். 2. Waste or loss in metals by fusion, malleation, filing, &c., உருக்கலாதியால்வருநஷ்டம். 3.
