There are some varieties of honey; குறிஞ்சித்தேன், wild honey from the hills; கொசுத்தேன், பொந்துத்தேன், சிறுதேன், honey of a very small bee; பெருந்தேன், good honey from the hills produced by large bees; கொம்புத்தேன், honey from a bunch of a tree in a comb; செந்தேன், red honey of high flavor. தேன்கூட்டிலேகல்லைவிட்டெறியலாமா.
