Chit-point of a seed, தானியத்தின்மூக்கு. இல்லிமூக்கு--சில்லிமூக்கு, s. A bleeding nose. மூக்கடைப்பு, v. noun. Hinderance of breath through the nostrils. மூக்கணாங்கயிறு-மூக்காங்கயிறு, s. The rope or string which is put through a bullock's nose for a bridle. மூக்காங்கயிறுகுத்துகிறது. Perforating a bullock's nose for the string. மூக்கந்தண்டு, s. [com. மூக்காந்தண்டு.] Bridge of the nose. மூக்கரிகத்தி, s. [poet. குளிரி.] An instrument for nipping betel-leaves. (சது.) மூக்கறிவு, s. Knowing by smell. மூக்கறை, s. A person with an amputated nose; in contempt, மூக்கறைப்பயல். மூக்கறைச்சி--மூக்கறைப்பெண், s. [masc. மூக்கறையன்.] A woman deprived of her nose by amputation or disease. மூக்கறையனுக்குவாழ்க்கைப்பட்டால்முன்னும்போ கவிடான்பின்னும்போகவிடான். A woman whose husband has no nose can neither go forward nor backward; applied to a fickleminded master. மூக்கன், s. A man with a large nose. See காக்கைமூக்கன். மூக்காங்கொழுந்து--மூக்குக்கொழுந்து, s. End of the nose. மூக்காலேபோகிறசீவன். A living being which breathes its last by the nose; said of men in contempt. மூக்காலேயழுதல், v. noun. Snivelling, crying through the nose. மூக்கிலி, appel. n.
