pirāṇāyāmam (p. 317) s. Breathing of a yogi, &c., in a peculiar way through the nostril. while mentally repeating the names of some god. He closes the left nostril with his thumb, and inhales through the right. then, after loosing both nostrils, he opens the left for exhalation. See இரேசகம் கும்பம், பூரகம். W. p. 587. PRAN'AYAMA. பிராணாயாமசித்தி, s.
